What's new

Aviation Helper is developed continuously. This is what arrived in which version – the app announces new versions itself.

2.8.x

  • Training: syllabus templates with a club layer, check sheet, solo flight authorization, training record as PDF and the FI briefing; the syllabus editor with outline, drag and drop and quick entry, club checks at any position of the template; the flight path as a map image and photos for each lesson, also in the full version of the training record PDF; a flight on several lessons splits block time and landings; a self-directed syllabus for the experience building of licensed pilots - the pilot completes tasks and checks himself or herself, the check sheet shows an hour target (see Help).
  • DTO annual report: the Annual Activity Report for the FOCA is produced from logbook and assignments, with PDF and archive (see Help).
  • Signatures: solo authorization, record closing and DTO report are signed electronically - with proof line and verification code in the PDF; your own signature can be stored in the profile, the student requests the solo authorization and signs it on his/her own device (see Help).
  • Vouchers: invoice receiver from the club contacts, "Sell a voucher" right from an assignment or a contact; when marking vouchers and invoices as paid, the payment method (bank, TWINT, card, cash) and payment date are recorded - for the export and the cash balance; desired route and remark on the voucher are pre-filled in the flight assignment; if a type has several print templates, the boarding pass template is chosen at the voucher, with one standard template per type (see Help).
  • Flight assignments: price, "paid" and payment method on an assignment without a voucher - the logbook asks after saving, the assignment book filters by "Unpaid"; attach a voucher to completed assignments afterwards (see Help).
  • Accounting: passenger flights paid directly in the cash tile, the export and the VAT report; new section "Passenger flights" with the receipt per flight and a work list for flights without a flag; the payout file debits the aircraft or club account per settlement and carries the instructor's address (see Help).
  • Club drive: file list with an in-app preview of PDFs, images and Office documents (see Help).
  • I want to fly: suggestions end before evening twilight, the usual aircraft is listed first (see Help).
  • Toolbox: FlyOuts show who voted for which destination; SplitFlaps includes passengers without an account - settled per crew, with a receipt as PDF and a personal link for passengers (see Help).
  • Profile: your own member settings for each club are in the profile under "My memberships" (see Help).
  • Theory: "No invoice" per attendance for lessons included in a theory package, when confirming or afterwards; the logbook of the theory resource lists the lessons held (see Help).
  • Usability: the same PDF preview everywhere, with zoom for images, a progress bar at the top, logbook filter by member; the overview shows "Inbound" as far as there is room next to the cards, and flight assignments by date (see Help).
  • General improvements, stability and performance.

2.7.x

  • Payment reconciliation: upload the bank statement, payments are matched to the invoices; if you want, a reminder for open invoices (module, see Help).
  • Payouts: instructor settlements as one payment file for e-banking; the debit on the statement marks them as paid (module, see Help).
  • Invoices: every QR-bill carries a payment reference; IBANs are validated on save (see Help).
  • Flight assignments: a taken assignment is linked to its reservation, from finding a slot to handing it back (see Help).
  • General improvements, stability and performance.

  • Printing: boarding passes and vouchers straight from the app on an office, ticket or ATB printer, templates in the editor (module, see Help).
  • Overview: "Inbound" timeline, an inbox for notifications, statistics for aircraft and members (see Help).
  • Accounting: report with VAT, instructor social insurance figures and sightseeing share; the invoice run detects periods billed already (see Help).
  • Training: training progress with the history per month and the state of every lesson (see Help).
  • Reservations: trip with legs, occupancy across the night, aircraft for selected members only (see Help).
  • Toolbox: FlyOuts, SplitFlaps and a flight calculator (see Help).

  • Flight assignments and vouchers: an assignment can be changed afterwards, the voucher is chosen right in the form (see Help).

  • Resources: the simulator is a resource type of its own without check flight rules (see Help).

  • Flight assignments: an assignment book for lesson and sightseeing flights, sightseeing pilots with a yearly check (see Help).
